Do not clean your coins
Cleaning coins almost always reduces their value. Bring them exactly as they are — dealers prefer original surfaces.
Appraisal vs. offer to purchase
A free verbal appraisal is an experienced opinion of value, not a formal written valuation. It is also distinct from an offer to buy. No purchase price is guaranteed.
